Introduction

The Dodge Viper, introduced in 1992, is the American version of a Fantasy Car. Featuring the largest engine among most cars on the road today, and one of the largest to be fitted in a production car ever, an 8.0lt unit producing more than 400 bhp and a much more impressive amount of torque.

The Viper has been praised for its direct race car feel. How, anyway could a car with more than 400 bhp driving the rear wheels only and without any type of electronic help be an easy thing to play with?

The Viper's muscle car design is fully justified given that it is directed, primarily, for the American market. Many different versions have appeared during the few years after the initial RT/10 model, for example the Viper GTS, Viper ACR, Viper GTS-R, Viper Venom 550, Viper Venom 600, and finally the Viper Venom 650 models. Good luck trying to purchase any of the Venom models, because there are very few produced and they are mostly used on the track.
